The star lot of the sale is this very desirable Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 wristwatch (lot 50) known as the 'Double Red' dating from 1974, so approaching it's 50th anniversary. The 'Double Red' is one of the best-known variants and was produced from 1971 to 1977, featuring a 2000ft or 610m water resistance and “patent pending” caseback.
